She’s probably found the perfect man several times. They were good listeners and made the rational choice to find someone else that wasn’t mind numbingly vapid.
She should get a dog. If the dog likes the guy she should settle for “perfect enough”.
The guy who’ll listen to your astrology bs in the hopes of getting laid is not “the perfect man”. Or is he?
Have to add another:
Her: I’ve been hurt before.
Perfect Man: By your own expectations?
I’ve heard of Coyote Ugly, she’s Coyote Crazy.
(Coyotes are reputed to gnaw off their own limbs when caught in a trap)
She suddenly breaks into “The hills are alive with the sound of music!”
Wait, wait. Stop the music.
I remember a joke about a woman who found the perfect man. He was looking for the perfect woman.
