Last Kiss Entertainment (that’s me) will have booths at the following conventions in 2011. So come by; get some free Last (chocolate) Kisses; tell me something fascinating about yourself; and keep me from getting lonely!
Emerald City Comicon, March 4-6, 2011, Seattle, WA. Booth #412
Comic-Con International: San Diego, July 20-25, 2011. I’ll be at the Last Kiss Entertainment Booth.
I just found out that ComicCon is this weekend in Toronto, and I told my boyfriend that my deciding factor is whether Last Kiss will be there. It’s not.
Why, John, why? Why abandon my great city??
Oh, Lauren! This is sad. If you miss the con because of me, I’ll cry. Or at least pout and use it as an excuse to not get any work done. See! I’m not working right now because of you. Oh, the horror!
I suppose I’ll have to make up for it and come out to Toronto con one of these days.
Actually (and seriously) I’d love to come to the con. It’s been many years since I’ve done a Canadian convention. And I’ve only seen your great city briefly while passing through once on a train. So it’d be fun to explore a bit.
The biggest problem with going on the road is always the cost of lodging. So if you know a cheap place to stay or better yet someone who could put up with me for a few days, let me know.
No, John, don’t cry because of me! Wait, do cry. No, don’t. I’m so confused! I think I’ve been reading your comics for too long…
The best would be for you to come to FanExpo in August — as well as comics, they have manga, horror, sci-fi, and gaming conventions all under one roof. You know, if you like being overwhelmed at huge parties.
My goal in life is to have a place where travelling artists and geniuses can crash. At the moment, however, I do not have my own place. But hopefully by the time you come to a Toronto convention, I will, so look me up then.
And before you cease and desist from any productivity, your absense isn’t the only excuse. I’m also running an improv workshop that night. And it’s my last chance to clean before Passover. And, maybe I will go after all…
But have fun at all the conventions you are going to!
Lauren, running an improv workshop is an excellent excuse for ducking out of a comic convention. (I see you do a lot of ’em! http://laurenbstein.wordpress.com/)
As for the FanExpo, my convention schedule is filling up this year, so it may have to wait ’til 2011.But I’m tempted. My biggest concern right now is just making sure I’ve got enough time to write. If I can make it, I’ll definitely let you know. Thanks!
