Happy Valentine’s Day!

Few pieces of Last Kiss art have been used as much—and have evolved as much—as the art in today’s comic. Many thanks to my pal Mike Pascale for continuing to find new ways to tweak and transform this vintage panel.

Art by Vince Colletta Studio from the story “Hope Never Dies” in FIRST KISS #29, 1962.

Father’s Day? Dance!

Father’s Day? Dance!

I’m making a temporary tweak to my usual Monday-Wednesday-Friday comics schedule. There won’t be a Monday comic so that I can actually run this Father’s Day gag on…Father’s Day.

Yes,  I know it’s shocking concept. But  I thought I’d give it a try.

Happy Father’s Day to me—and all the other dads out there!

Art by Dick Giordano from Romantic Story #70, Jan. 1964.

The cover teaser caption in the upper-left hand corner is impossible to read here, but it says: The date for my marriage to Chet Dillman was set! I loved Chet and wanted to be his wife, but…I was determined to have one last fling!
