I too have been incredibly sick with some non-covid summer virus. 2 weeks into it and still coughing up crap.
Sorry to hear you’ve been sick, Dave. But…yeah, there’s definitely some sort of crazy, nasty cold going around. It last weeks…at a minimum.
I got mine from my wife—who’s still coughing 2-3 weeks after getting hers. I’m not coughing so much, but the congestion combined with the descent on the flight got my ears so blocked up—both on the flight to the con and back–that I could barely hear anything for close to 24 hours. And later messed up my inner ears so badly that I couldn’t keep my balance. No fun!
But he will always wonder: was it really for the Klondike bar? Was it ONLY for the Klondike bar?
