Reminds me of a Mike Birbiglia joke: he thought a woman he dated had gay cats, because they were always spooning, licking each other, and criticizing his clothes.
Of course, they weren’t born gay, it was more of a prison situation. “Look, Tony, this may be the catnip talking, but I really like the way your belly matches your paws…”
