Tony Isabella‘s love for “Uncle Godzilla” isn’t exactly a secret.
For years Tony has been proclaiming himself “the pastor of the First Church of Godzilla.”
Kinky? Sure. But Tony assures me that I have nothing to worry about. (No virgins, giant moths or three-headed dragons were sacrificed in the making of today’s comic.)
I appreciate Tony’s passion for giant, god-like creatures. So expect more Gorgo comics to pop up here—occasionally—in the future.
Will they be religious experiences? I don’t know. But I’m sure they’ll be funny.
Now let us prey!

Is it just me, or does Gorgo look really, really stoned?
” ‘s up bro…I just ate this surfer and he was soooo mellowed up. Now I can’t feel my face. This isn’t like an intervention or somethin’ is it? Cos I am totally fine. Quit what? I can totally quit if I wanted to man. Except nachos. Cos I really need nachos right now. They’d be soooooo good. You have no idea. Is your name Dave?”
Also, what’s the guy in the purple pants doing? Is he falling backwards? Sitting awkwardly on something? Upset because he was saving that surfer to eat later? Doing a trust exercise with the guy in the stupid, poofy, orange hat?
It is always nice to see Ditko though. I remember reading Dr. Strange. Never understood what was going on. But loved the art. Thanks for sharing.

And, yes, I think Purple Pants is definitely falling backwards. And doing a trust fall with Orange Hat? Maybe.
As for Ditko…yes! I’m really happy that Sturdy Steve has finally appeared in a Last Kiss. I’m pretty sure he’ll appear in more too since Tony wants to do more Gorgo gags and Ditko drew much of the Gorgo series.
So, Hollywood stars have gotten worse over 57 years? I’ll agree with that?
