Funny Ha Ha?

Funny Ha Ha?

I wrote today’s gag and then realized—oops! I didn’t have any art—that I liked—to go with it. What to do?

I ended up mashing together elements from two pieces of art recreated for me by Diego Jourdan Pereira—a 1952 John Prentice panel and a 1958 Vince Colletta panel. And…voilà! I had the art I needed.
