The Queen’s Gambit

The Queen’s Gambit

By the way, I titled this one The Queen’s Gambit—-inspired in part by the terrific Netflix series of the same name. As it turns out, I finished watching the last episode of the series tonight and it was even better than I was hoping for.

The series has more meaning if you know chess—-especially if you’ve gone to some chess tournaments. (I was chess coordinator at my kiddo’s school.) But it’s a terrific series even if you don’t know a rook from a bishop.

The original art as it appeared in FIRST KISS #20 (1961) by Vince Colletta.

Under Where?

If your Friday is more casual than this, please consider working at home today.

Of course, every Friday is “Casual Friday” for me. For me, Thursdays are always “Pajamas ‘Til Noon Thursdays.” And tomorrow is “Feel Like Getting Dressed Saturday?”
