Beer Today, Gone Tomorrow

I was proud of today’s title “Gone Today, Beer Tomorrow”…’til it occurred to me that it had come to me a little too easily. So I Googled the phrase and it came up 2,440,000 times.

Obviously all these other people were clairvoyant and stole my idea—before I thought of it.

Today’s original art (above) is from First Kiss #5 (1958) and it’s a bit sparse on verbiage so I’m throwing in some extra panels.

  1. John,

I loved this one! Finally, a cartoon a guy like me can buy happily on your merchandise and keep. (Not that I haven’t bought stuff to give the spouse.)

So, please, PLEASE put this on t-shirts and potholders!

    Mike Flynn

    • I’m glad you like it, Mike. I’ll see what I can do with the design for my next convention.
