Welcome to LepreCon

Welcome to LepreCon

Happy St. Patrick’s Day from me and my partner in today’s comic shenanigans—Mike Pascale.

In addition to transforming a guy in a striped suit (see first panel below) into a leprechaun, Mike provided today’s “lepre-con” pun.

By the way, today’s comic is a mashup of two panels from FIRST KISS Comics. See below.

Art by the Vince Colletta Studio from FIRST KISS #8, 1959.

Artist unknown. Art from the story “The Love that Failed” in FIRST KISS #25, 1962.

Failing Sex Ed

Failing Sex Ed

It’s been awhile since I posted any comics inspired by IT’S ALWAYS BUCKY—the proposed animated series that Jack Enyart and I are working on. Rather than Bucky himself, today’s comic features Paley…Bucky’s best buddy. Paley’s the weird-kid-down-the-street (every neighborhood has one) who’s looking for trouble—and usually finds it!

Art by Lou Fine from SMASH #23, 1941. Click image to enlarge.
