How about “ruin” rather than run? It works well with the expression and the finger!
How about “I’ve got lives to RUIN”? That ties in with 9/11. So many lives were ruined that day and are still being ruined by war and the economy.
I’m getting lots of folks who think “ruin” would be better than “run.” I may just have to change the gag!
